MUCA Visits with Mike Rowe at ConExpo

(Left to Right: Matt Brenteson, Lee Beemer, Mike Rowe, Stephanie Menning)

MUCA is supporting the National Excavator Initiative (NEI), a 501 (c) 3 non-profit effort to spread the word about the importance of calling 811 before you dig. Part of this effort will be public service announcements, videos, and animations featuring Mike Rowe promoting this important message.

When the opportunity presented itself to have contractor interviews with Mike Rowe, MUCA stepped up to the plate.

Thanks to Matt Brenteson, Brenteson Companies and Lee Beemer, Beemer Companies for volunteering to share their stories with Mike while in Las Vegas.

To learn more about NEI, please review this PDF. Contact information is on the form.

MUCA Spends a Day at the Capitol

(Left to Right: Carlos Villareal, Tom Peterson-County Materials, Mark Magney-Magney Construction, Matt Brenteson-Brenteson Companies, Stephanie Menning-MUCA, Speaker of the House, Kurt Daudt)

On March 8th, MUCA joined the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce for our Day at the Capitol. We met with several legislators and asked them for transportation and infrastructure funding, specifically to ensure the Clean Water and Safe Drinking Water State Revolving Funds meet the required amount to receive the Federal match. We also appealed for much needed business tax relief, and support for revision language to the MS216D Law, adding protections and recourse for contractors on utility line hits that are not their fault.
