MUCA Off-line this Friday.

MUCA is housed in the UEL (University Enterprise Laboratory) building on Westgate Drive. The U of M is constructing an addition to this building. Several MUCA Members have participated in this construction effort, including Minnesota Utilities & Excavating, Valley Paving, St. Paul Utilities, and Veit.

This Friday, August 24, electricity to the entire building will be down for several hours as part of the construction project. This will impact our servers, email, and phones. Our website will not be affected.

We appreciate your patience during this time.

Day of the Dozers – Call for Volunteers and Sponsorships

Saturday, September 29, 2018
ERX Motor Park, Elk River

Day of the Dozers

Share your passion for the construction industry with kids and raise money for a great organization, Minnesota Children’s Hospitals and Clinics!

How You Can Help: There are several opportunities to promote our industry and your organization...

  • Provide equipment and operators to give kids rides! We need excavators, backhoes, dozers, mini-excavators, tractor-loader backhoes, articulated dump trucks and more!
  • Provide static display equipment. Even when they’re not riding, kids love to climb on and give mom and dad a great photo op!
  • Volunteer your time! We need folks to help direct parking, equipment operators to give kids rides, experienced construction professionals to escort kids to and from the ride machines, or folks who can help with registration, waiver signatures, or just sell water and pop.
  • Day of the Dozer Donations! You can donate directly to Children’s Hospitals here.
  • Insurance Sponsorship! Help MUCA host this event through sponsoring the cost of Special Event Insurance here.

This fun family event attracts over 3,000 people annually. Last year we raised over $48,000 for Children’s and sponsored an emergency triage room. All sponsors are promoted at the event, recognized on the Day of the Dozer website, and in the Underground Press magazine. Thanks!
