Are credit cards accepted at the gate?

Yes, we have credit card processing available at the gate.

What is the age limit for Day of the Dozers?

Children aged 3 to 10 years old may ride on the equipment with the operators. Children under 3 are allowed on limited equipment that has a ‘jump seat’ for the parents to ride with their child. Children who are too big in size or over 10 years of age are not allowed to ride with the operator, to ensure the operator’s ability to be safe at all times.

Why does a children’s ticket cost more than an adult?

Children from 3 to 10 years old have full access to ride the equipment as many times as possible.

My Child is almost 3 years old. Can I buy a full access ticket?

We are always looking to ensure the safety of all children participating in our event. Young toddlers tend to be restless and because of this we have set firm rules. We do not sell full access tickets for any children under the age of 3. This rule is enforced for their safety as well as the operator’s safety.

My child is not 3….so what do you have for them?

We have lots of fun things for the younger kids. There are sand boxes, culvert mazes, and stationary vehicles and equipment to view. We also have limited Equipment Rides that they can go on. They are welcome in equipment that has a “jump seat”. This allows parents to hold their child and enjoy the ride. This also allows the Operator to safely maneuver the equipment.

Where does my ticket fee and donation go?

All proceeds are donated to Children’s Minnesota.

When does the gate open/How soon can I line up to get in?

The gates open at approximately 9 AM. We often have equipment still arriving in the early morning. Due to last minute equipment being delivered, we do not recommend arriving until 8:45 AM.

Where do I collect my wristbands I purchased?

The gate/registration area will have volunteers placing wristbands on patrons, only after they have submitted a signed waiver to enter the park.

Do I need a photo ID?

I can’t find my waiver, where can I print another one?

You can print another one from the Children’s website or we have additional waivers for you to sign at the registration area on the day of the event.

What should I bring/wear?

Dress appropriately for the weather. Close-toed shoes are recommended.

Is there a schedule of events?

No. Rides begin as soon as the gates open. Raffle drawings happen in the afternoon (you do not need to be present to win!). We are open from 9 AM to 4 PM.

Can I bring my own food and drink?

No. ERX Motor Park does not allow outside food or beverage. We have plenty of food trucks with a variety of good eats. We also sell pop and water for only $1 each. There is absolutely no alcohol allowed on the premises.

Can I bring a stroller or wagon for my kids?

Of course!

I’ve heard the event has long wait times, what is the expected wait time for each activity?

While we can’t guarantee specific wait times, we can tell you the rides are worth the wait! Wait times may vary depending on type of equipment.

Is there a limited number of tickets for Day of the Dozers?

How much does it cost to park?

Parking is free. Please follow the instructions of the flagger as you enter the parking area.

Are pets allowed?

No pets please.

Will there be ATMs available?

No. ERX does not have an ATM on-site.

Do I need hearing protection?

Construction equipment is loud and attending Day of the Dozers is no different than attending a stock car race, truck pull or similar event. We do not require hearing protection to attend Day of the Dozers, however, you may want to make it part of your plans.

Disabled Access

ERX Motor Park has a few dedicated handicap parking spaces. Be aware, ERX Motor Park’s spectator areas are all dirt surfaces that may be uneven or rocky in places.

Event Photos

All photos taken will be available on the Official Day of the Dozers website, hosted by the Minnesota Utility Contractors Association. The photos will be available approximately 10 days after the event and you’re welcome to download any that you like.
